Biography
I am a physicist and materials scientist whose research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of new semiconductor materials for energy and optoelectronic applications. I was awarded my PhD in Physics and Astronomy (2025) on charge-carrier transport and recombination in electron transport layers for halide perovskite solar cells. Today, I am particularly interested in understanding charge transport mechanisms, the physics of intrinsic and extrinsic defects, and the optical and electrical properties of semiconductor materials, including electron transport materials for perovskite solar cells. My work investigates how approaches such as doping, ion implantation, annealing, and surface engineering can be used to control defects and improve material and device performance.
