Dr. Halima Sallawu

Welcome to my profile page. I am Dr. Halima Sallawu, and I am delighted to be part of this academic community.

I am Dr. Halima Sallawu a Senior Lecturer with the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria. I joined the service of the university in 2012 as a Graduate Assistant and rose through the rank before assuming my current rank as a Senior Lecturer. In my administrative capacity, I am currently the School Examination Officer, and a member of various departmental, School, and University Committees. My research activities have led to significant contributions in the field, with notable grants support from TETFUND and ASUU. I have received various national and international accolades, including the prestigious Gold PhD Thesis Award from the Nigerian Association of Agricultural Economists in 2024. My academic journey is supported by active participation in numerous conferences, workshops, and seminars, both nationally and internationally. So far, I have published sixty (60) articles both in international and national journals, conference proceedings and book chapters.
