Biography

Lawrence Jane Osita is a Lecturer II in the Department of Geophysics at the Federal University of Technology Minna. She holds a Bachelor degree in Physics and a Master's degree in Applied Geophysics from the institution and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Mineral Exploration at the University of Abuja. Her teaching and research interests span exploration geophysics, and mineral exploration. She is actively engaged in undergraduate teaching, student mentoring, and academic research, with contributions to scholarly publications and conference presentations. As a member of the National Research Fund (NRF) supported geoscience research team, she has contributed to projects on gold mineralisation in Nigeria. She remains committed to research excellence, innovation, collaborative scholarship, and the advancement of geoscience education.
