Biography

Ojo Michael Akindele is a lecturer and researcher who focuses on Agricultural Production Economics with special interest in establishing and improving the efficiency and productivity of farmers with the aim of enhancing food production and security. He has conducted researches ranging from gender productivity differentials, youth participation in agriculture, small, medium and large-scale farm production, impact assessment with the aim of identifying the factors and constraints that affect the food crop and poultry production, productivity and efficiency in order to proffer solutions to them thereby increasing food security status of the people. He has consulted and collaborated with both National and International Institutions/Organizations on various research works and survey. He has over 90 publications covering his areas of research interest. He has supervised and still supervising undergraduate, Master and PhD students. He is currently a Professor of Agricultural Economics
