Biography
Dr. Rasheed Olakitan Oyewale, a Senior Lecturer is the Postgraduate Coordinator of the Department of Crop Production, an Assistant Examination officer of the School of Agricultural and Agricultural Technology, Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, Niger State. He holds a PhD Crop Protection from Federal University of Technology, Minna, M.Sc Crop Protection from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and B. Agric from University of Maiduguri, Borno State. His research areas focus on management of insect pests of various crops (cereals, legumes, vegetables). Dr. Oyewale has been in research teams that won grants in the University. He has successfully supervised four MTech students and currently has six others. He published numerous articles in reputable National and International journals. He was appointed Postgraduate coordinator in the Department of Crop Production from October 2023 till date. He was also appointed examination officer of the School of Agronomy and Forestry Technology
