Biography
Shakirudeen Ishola Yusuf is an Associate Professor in Applied Mathematics with specialization in Fluid Dynamics and Physiological flow and with particular interest in the analytical solutions of Initial and Boundary Value Problems in Mathematical Science and Engineering. He has worked extensively on detection of blockage and leakage in pipes and other restricted geometries including human blood vessels using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). He has used MRI to ascertain adolescent age through the brain and distal radius of the hand. The detection and determination of severity of tracheomalacia is another area he has done extensive work. He is presently collaborating on how to use censors to monitor fluid flow in long range pipes. He is also working on developing a model that will examine the effect of sickle cell disease (SCD) in the flow and diffusion of blood in the blood vessels. He is well experienced in university administration and as a reputable Academic, he has supervised man
