Engr. Dr. Uzoma Gregory Okoro is a Lecturer and Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUT Minna). He holds a B.Eng. from FUT Minna, an M.Sc. in Mechanical Design from NUAA (China), a Ph.D. in Risk and Reliability Modelling of Offshore Energy Structures from Cranfield University (UK), and a prestigious faculty post-doc fellowship at the University of Witwatersrand. Dr. Okoro’s research expertise spans Engineering Design, Solid Mechanics, Failure Prevention, Safety, and Advanced Manufacturing. He has been involved in several high-impact funded projects, including the NRF (TETfund) and European Mobility projects. He has authored numerous well-cited articles in reputable national and international journals and is a member of several professional organizations, including the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
