I received my Ph.D in Satellite Navigation & Positioning from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) in 2017 and I am a registered Surveyor with the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON) since 2009.

I am an academic with the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria since 2005 in the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics, I have taught several courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, currently involved in the supervision of 5 PhD students and have successfully supervised about 10 Masters and 40 undergraduate students within these years.

I have served as Head of my Department (2018 to 2020), departmental Postgraduate Coordinator (2017 to 2019 and 2021 to 2023), Departmental Examination Officer (2010 to 2012), undergraduate project Coordinator (2008 to 2012), undergraduate students Adviser (2006 to 2012) etc.

I have over forty (40) publications covering various aspects of Surveying and Geoinformatics, published in reputable national and international peer review journals, conference proceedings and Book Chapters.

I am an external member of Academic Board of Federal School of Surveying Oyo (2023), external Examiner to Ahmadu Bello University Zaria since 2019, professional examiner to SURCON. I have been serving as reviewer and editorial member of several journals and conferences, both within and outside Nigeria as well as guest Lecturer to professional and student groups.

I am a co-investigator in two Institutional Based research Intervention (IBRI) grants.

My research interest is in Geodesy & Space science (GNSS applications, Geodetic remote sensing & Earth observation), Cadastral Surveying and geospatial modelling.
