Dr. M. O. Anifowose is an Associate Professor in the Department of Quantity Surveying, School of Environmental Technology, Federal University of Technology, Minna, (FUTMinna) Nigeria. After his Secondary Education he proceeded to the Kwara State Polytechnic Ilorin, where he had National Diploma (OND) in Building and Quantity Surveying (1998). Maroof obtained Bachelor degree (BTech) in Quantity Surveying from FUTMinna, Nigeria (2003). Maroof obtained his Master degree (MSc) from University of Jos, Nigeria (2011); and PhD from the University of Science Malaysia (2016). Maroof was elected a professional member of the NIQS (2013) and as a Registered Quantity Surveyor with Quantity Surveying Registration Board of Nigeria (2016). He has been working as a lecturer in the Department of Quantity Surveying, FUTMinna since 2005, teaching both the undergraduate and postgraduate students at the University. Maroof had jointly supervised a PhD student and singularly supervised eleven master students with eight PhD (Major & Co) and three master students currently ongoing. He is the Deputy Examination Officer of the School of Environmental Technology. Maroof has published in reputable journals, attendance in conference, conference proceedings, book and chapters in a book. Maroof is a reviewer for many National and international journals, visiting lecturing to some universities, and a guest speaker at professional workshop and seminar. Maroof received the best paper award at the MiCRA Conference organised by International Islamic University Malaysia in 2014. Dr Maroof has been conducting research in the areas of Quantity surveying, Construction Management, Construction Project Management, and Security and Community Development.
