Adebayo Abbass Adetona is a senior lecturer at the department of Geophysics of Federal University of Technology Minna Niger State Nigeria. He holds a Btech in Physics/Matallurgy Mtech in Applied Geophysics from Federal University of Technology Minna, and a PhD in Applied Geophysics from University of Abuja, Nigeria. He started his academic career at the Department of Physics of Federal University of Technology Minna in the year 2007, where he has been involved in and supervision of both undergraduate and post graduate students. His research interest are in field procedure and data acquisition in electrical magnetic seismic and gravity method software utilisation and data modelling for mineral exploration. Hydrocarbon  and solid mineral exploration. He has administrative experience as committee member examination officer and post graduate coordinator. A menber and reviewer to Nigeria Institute of Physics and Nigerian mining, geological survey, Journal of African earth Sciences,International Journal of Physical Sciences (IJPS) and journals of Universities in Nigeria and outside the country.
