Prof. Bosede Adelola Orhevba was born in Zaria, Kaduna State, where she had her primary and secondary school education, from 1983 to 1994. She attended the Federal University of Technology, Minna for her first degree, where she graduated in the year 2002 with Second class upper division in Agricultural Engineering. She also obtained the Masters in Engineering and Ph.D in Agricultural Engineering in 2007 and 2014 respectively, from the same university. She belongs to the following professional bodies: ASABE (American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers), COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria), NSE (Nigeria Society of Engineers), NIAE (Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers) and APWEN (Association of Professional Women Engineers). 

She began her academic career in 2007, when she was empolyed by the Federal University of Technology, Minna as an Assistant Lecturer, she was however upgraded after some months to the rank of Lecturer II. She has being consistent in the discharge of her academic, administerial and professional responsibilities; she has been a departmental exam officer, level adviser, undergraduate project coordinator, Faculty SIWES Coordinator and Faculty SWEP Coordinator.

She has supervised numerous undergraduate and post graduates students; attended many national and international conferences, a reviewer to many reputable national and international journals and a member of COREN accreditaion teams to many institutions. Her research area include: post harvest technology, renewable energy, design of processing equipment, crop processing etc. She has over 80 published scholarly publications from highly reputable journals and confrences. She was promoted to the rank of professor in 2020.
