Anita Dzikwi Adamu is a Doctor of Philosophy in Construction Management. She is currently a Associate Professor at the Department of Quantity Surveying, Federal University of Technology, Minna. Anita holds a Bachelor of Technology. degree in Quantity Surveying from the Federal University of Technology, Minna (1995-2000); Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (2006-2008); Doctor of Philosophy in Construction Management from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Port Elizabeth in South Africa (2013-2015) , she was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering, Nelson Mandela University in South Africa (2015-2016) and is still a Research Assistant in the School of Built Environment. Anita has a passion for scientific research and development, she has been involved in many research activities and published articles in areas such as Construction contracting, Facilities and maintenance management, Sustainable built Environment, Health and safety, waste management and supply chain management. Anita is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveying (NIQS) and a Registered Quantity surveyor (RQS) with the Quantity Registration Board of Nigeria (QSRBN). She is has also started ascending the ladder towards a Charted Construction Manager on the Academic route of the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).
