Prof Bolanle Adenike Adejumo holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree (B.Eng) Agricultural Engineering in 1995 from the University of Ilorin. She obtained a Masters and PhD in Agricultural Engineering in 2001 and 2010 respectively from the University of Ibadan. She was first appointed as an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Agricultural Engineering, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso in 2005 and she joined the services of Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2011 as a Lecturer I in the Department of Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering. She rose through the ranks and file to become a Professor in 2018. She has supervised 5 PhD students and 25 masters’ students. She has over 70 journal articles and 30 conference proceedings to her credit. She is a reviewer for several national and international journals. Professor Adejumo has held several administrative positions as level Advisor (2005 -2011), Postgraduate Coordinator (2012 – 2013), Head of Department (2013 – 2017) and member of senate. She has served and is still serving in several committees with the School of Engineering and the University. She is an external examiner to Department of Food Science and Engineering and Department of Agricultural Engineering, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. She is a resource person for NUC and COREN accreditations. She is a registered Engineer, member American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers, Nigerian Society of Engineers and Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers.

Research Area

Her area of research interest is Agricultural crop processing and storage, Food engineering and new product development.
