Dr. Tolorunse Kehinde Dele attended Ajigba Grammar School, Olle Bunu, Kogi State, from 1996 to 2001, and the ABU, College of Agriculture, Kabba, Kogi State, from 2001 to 2002 before proceeding to the prestigious Federal University of Technology, Minna in 2003 from where he graduated with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Agric Tech.) in Crop Production in 2008. At the end of the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in the year 2011, he enrolled for a Master of Technology (MTech.) degree programme in Crop Production at F.U.T Minna and he successfully completed the programme in 2014 with outstanding grades in all courses taken. In 2012, he was offered a teaching position as graduate assistance in the Department of Crop Production at FUT, Minna from where he pursued a Ph.D. research program in Crop Breeding at the same Department, which he completed in 2017. He thereafter moved gradually through the academic ranks to the position of Lecturer I in October 2021. Dr. Tolorunse has a vast range of administrative experiences within and outside the University system. He has held varied positions in clubs, societies, and local community associations in Niger State, and has served the University in various capacities, including membership in over 7 committees and as chair of 1 of them. He has also served as a Departmental Examination Officer for seven years and Turnitin Officer. Dr. Tolorunse is well exposed internationally having attended a number of International Conferences and published in reputable international Journals. He has supervised and mentored a wide array of MTech. and Ph.D. students to date. He is a member of some professional society organizations including the Horticultural Society of Nigeria (HORTSON), Association of Seed Scientists of Nigeria (ASSN), and the Plant Breeders Association of Nigeria (PBAN). He is happily married with two children.

(i) Yield stability studies of crops

(ii) Genotypes by environment interactions of crops

(iii) Agro-morphological studies of crops
