Dr. Olayiwola Matthew ADETUTU was born on 5^th of the June, 1974 in Ogbomoso. He attended, Maya Baptist Day School, Ogbomoso, Baptist High School, Ogbomoso, and Osun State College of Education, Ila-Orangun where he obtained Primary School Certificate, West Africa Senior School Certificate and Nigerian Certificate in Education in 1986, 1993 and 1997 respectively. He holds Bachelor of Science, and Master of Science Degrees in Statistics from University of Ilorin in 2003 and 2009 respectively. He further had PhD (Statistics) with special interest in Item Response and Its Applications in educational sciences, medicine, psychometrics and sociometrics from Kwara State University Malete in 2022. 

He started his working experience as an assistant lecturer in the then Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Federal University of Technology Minna in 2012. He is married with three children.
