Im attracted by the study of fluids, disease models, and applied mathematics in general utilizing analytical and semi-analytical computational approaches as a young, budding researcher. To provide insight into complex wildfire scenarios, analysis, and control strategies for both their outbreak and that of infectious disease, I have lately focused mostly on models for infectious disease and wildfire analysis with international collaborations.

I am Abraham Baba Zhiri, a potential PhD candidate seeking mentorship, collaboration and tutelage from experts and renowned professors and researchers in the field of applied mathematics from anywhere around the globe. I hold Masters of Technology (MTech) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics (Highest Distinction) and Mathematics (First Class) from Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria respectively.

In my free time, I love to help empower underrepresented students in research and innovation through an initiative that I founded Zhiri’s foundation mentoring hub. Having one on one contact with undergraduate students and individual around my vicinity in building their minds for a positive and prosperous career trajectory.
