Dr. Aminu, Enesi Femi MCPN, MNCS, MIACSIT is  currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, School of Information & Communication Technology, Federal University of Technology, Minna. He holds Diploma, BSc, MSc, and PhD degrees all in Computer Science from University of Jos, Plateau State, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State, and Federal University of Technology, Minna Niger State Nigeria respectively. He is a registered member of the following professional bodies: Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), and International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). He has wide knowledge in teaching, training, and research for over twelve years. He has taught several courses in computer science both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and has authored and co-authored in over thirty (30) reputable journals, and conferences in his area of research interests. He has equally reviewed papers in some high-impact peer-reviewed journal and conferences. He won awards as best presenter in some conferences. During his PhD program, he deployed Ontology technology as a semantic data modelling technique to build a novel repository for maize crop christened MaCOnto and equally won TETFund IBRI research grant in 2016-2017.

Research Area

My research area is on Knowledge Representations, and Reasoning Algorithm Design, with specific interests on Ontology Design, and Semantic Search (Information Retrieval). Other research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing.
