                                     PROFESSOR JAMES AGAJO PROFILE

Professor James Agajo has a PhD in the field of Telecommunication and Computer Engineering, he is a highly motivated career driven achiever with over twenty one years (21) years lecturing and research experience in the field of  Wireless Communication, Artificial Intelligence , Computer System design ,  Spectrum Management, Industrial Automation, Signal Processing Research and Project Development.  However his main areas of research includes Wireless Sensor Network Systems, Underwater Acoustic Wireless Sensor Network, Internet of Things, Software Defined Networking, MIMO Technology, Cognitive radio development, Computer network, Intelligent System design, Machine Learning Application in 5G , Digital Signal Processing and Embedded systems.

Dr James Agajo received a Bachelor of Engineering(B.Eng)  Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna , and a Master’s of Engineering(M.Eng.)  Degree in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering from   Nnamdi Azikiwe University , with a (Ph.D) in Telecommunication and Computer Engineering from  Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

A former HOD , Acting Director and one time Postgraduate Coordinator , Dr James Agajo is presently a lecturer with the Department of Computer Engineering with the Federal University of Technology Minna, School of Electrical Engineering and Technology.

 With over 110 publications in high profile  Journal , amongst which are Q1 , Q2,Q3 journals categories and Wileys Incorporation,  Dr James Agajo is recipient of many awards amongst which are I.T.U Build a thorn AI award 2021, I.T.U Mentorship award 2021, I.B.M Artificial Intelligence Analyst Master’s Award 2020, IBM Internet of Things(IoT)  Cloud Developer Award, IBM Blockchain Developer Award all in 2020.

Professor James Agajo has travelled over 20 countries in  different continents of the globe, and at different instances he won the best paper presenter at international  conferences attended.

He is Presently an Examiner to various University amongst which are University of Johannesburg  South Africa, University of Namibia, Ahmadu Bello University and many more.

Presently he is a visiting Professor to I.C.T University U.S.A, visiting  Lecturer to Baze University Abuja, Nile University Abuja, Visiting lecturer Federal University of Petroleum Resources Effurun, Nile University Abuja, Kebbi State University of Science and Technology Kebbi, University of Pretoria.

Dr James Agajo is a member of many bodies amongst which are International Association of Computer Science and information technology (IACSIT), HEDON (Clean Energy Group), Partnership for Clean Indoor Air(PCIA), Nigeria Society for Engineers(NSE) , International Association of Engineers (IAENG),Society of Satellite Professional International(SSPI) He is also a member Renewable Energy Application Group of Nigeria (MREAGN).

He is a fellow of the Institute of Policy Management and Development (IPMD), also an ICT/oil and Gas Consultant.

Dr James Agajo Is happily  married with kids.
